The chapter discusses the IH policies and programs of the central government implemented at the national level; the IR implemented at the state and local level and then discusses in detail the case of Residential Affordable Housing (RAH) Zone of in Ahmedabad which is an example of Inclusionary Zoning and Regulations (IZR) implemented in India. It includes mandates of RAH, the incentives provided to the developers under it and the market response to it. This chapter has the following intended leaning objectives : ● Studying and comparing the different Indian Inclusionary Housing policies and programs at the national level. ● Studying and analysing the different Inclusionary Regulation at the state and local level. ● The implementation of Inclusionary Zoning and Regulations by studying the case of Residential Affordable Housing (RAH) Zone and Regulation Ahmedabad.
